Cats are often fascinated with houseplants. Many plants are poisonous and could cause serious harm to your cat, even death. Cats may dig in the dirt or chew on leaves. For chewing, try spraying the plant with bitter orange or dusting it with cayenne pepper. Offer an alternative such as catnip plant or grass. For digging or urinating, cover dirt with aluminium foil - you'll find most cat behaviour issues can be solved with foil.
